Folder Sync Connection - Windows

NextCloud Server = v31.0.5
NextCloud Windows Client = 3.16.4
PHP version = 8.3.2.1

I have configured my windows client to sync a folder to my NextCloud account. I had previously added this folder for testing and removed as it failed to upload.

I’m now trying to re-add the folder and am getting the following warning in the windows client:

Please choose a different location. [folder path] is already being used as a sync folder.

Within the windows client, under the “standard file sync” tab, I have no syncs listed. The folder is also removed from nextcloud.

I have completely uninstalled the windows app and rebooted my machine, but the error persists.

I think there are still hidden nextcloud files in your local directory, they probably are creating your problem

Thank you. I saw some files in the directory and removed them. That seemed to fix the error.

Would this be a bug? I wouldn’t have known to delete those files as part of the unsync process?

Im no expert, i think normally if you remove the sync connection these files should get deleted automatically.
