When working on a rewritten https://github.com/owncloud/news-iOS-App as a hobby project I tried to use Oauth2 as the default authentication. Unfortunately that only seems to be an option in NC13, so I figured I’d use basic auth as a fallback. I can’t find an API that indicates what the current NC version is though, is my Google magic running out or does it simply not exist?
