Where can I find the version of the Nextcloud client installed and used? There seems to be no about or help menu showing version.
Right click on the tray icon → Settings → General (the gear icon)
It almost seems intentional to make it as hard as possible to find the version obscured in an obscure location of the user interface.
Why not include a About entry in the right click menu showing a dialog with this information ?
Sorry, but now you’re actively looking for something just so you can complain here!? 
Yeah, that’s not necessarily a bad idea. Maybe you could open a feature request on GitHub.
