Files page title still shows “Nextcloud” after renaming to “KDrive” — how to fix?

I recently changed the name of my Nextcloud instance to “KDrive,” and while the activity app shows the correct name in its title (“Activity – KDrive”), the files page still displays the old title as “Files – Nextcloud – KDrive.” I checked the theme settings, and everything seems updated to “KDrive,” but the old “Nextcloud” name keeps appearing on the files page title. It feels like something obvious is missing or cached, but I can’t figure out how to fully remove “Nextcloud” from that page. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

I don’t think it’s possible to remove it. Also, I don’t think it’s a caching issue because I see the same behavior in multiple browsers on all my instances.

It could either be a bug in the Files app or, it could be intentional, perhaps because some functionality depends on it.

I wonder if it might have something to do with the desktop clients and the fact that, when you connect multiple instances, they all appear with the same name, “Nextcloud,” in the sidebar of the file manager.

same here… :+1:

Oh okay, I thought I had something misconfigured — but good to know it’s working as intended. Thanks to both of you for confirming

cc @susnux is that fixed by refactor(files): remove custom page title handling by susnux · Pull Request #53574 · nextcloud/server · GitHub?

yes but also needed the nextcloud-vue update. So should be included in the next releases in August.
