We are using the latest version of Nextcloud AIO (all containers are up to date) and the Nextcloud desktop client version 4.0.2 (MacOS 26.1).
Should the automatic file lock function? When I open a file Docx File in Finder (MS Word or LibreOffice), should it appear as locked in the web browser, right? It does not.
The client generally works good. Only File Lock does not work.
It should appear as locked in the web browser. Though, there are requirements to this feature. In example the activation of the files_lock app on the server.
Also, there currently is the caveat that it takes a minute for the locally created lock file to be detected through the macOS file provider framework before the associated document becomes locked on the server. This is still an open issue.
