Using Nextcloud client v34.0.2 on macOS a file opened in LibreOffice locally cannot be saved after editing for a couple of minutes. The error is in the file being locked. However, that lock exists purely because the file has been opened for editing.
Unlocking the file in Finder allows to save again in LibreOffice.
That’s probably not intended behavior. It wasn’t there in clients <v34. How can this be fixed?

I am just back from leave so I need to catch up with some things. Though, I can already tell that this was reported meanwhile and is a known issue we will resolve soon. It appears to be a regression. So much for now.

To follow up on this: The mentioned PR is marked as merged on Aug, 24th. However, the issue still stands with Nextcloud client v34.0.4, released September 16th.
Is there some setting or action missing on my side to re-enable editing LibreOffice documents again? Pointer appreciated.
I can confirm what @rolando said, this issue is still present on desktop client version 34.0.4.
Then perhaps create a new bug report, from the linked github repo it is not clear for me in which client version the changes were applied. Don’t forget to link the topic here so people can follow up if they find the same issue.
