File cannot be saved as it's locked by being open for editing

Using Nextcloud client v34.0.2 on macOS a file opened in LibreOffice locally cannot be saved after editing for a couple of minutes. The error is in the file being locked. However, that lock exists purely because the file has been opened for editing.

Unlocking the file in Finder allows to save again in LibreOffice.

That’s probably not intended behavior. It wasn’t there in clients <v34. How can this be fixed?

I am just back from leave so I need to catch up with some things. Though, I can already tell that this was reported meanwhile and is a known issue we will resolve soon. It appears to be a regression. So much for now. :wink:
