As an alternative to creating albums, create a tag for people in a picture. Albums make some sense, but when there are multiple people in a picture, tags make more sense.
My understanding is applying tags from faces is exactly what the Recognize app for photos does. Haven’t tested it, but details at GitHub - nextcloud/recognize: 👁 👂 Smart media tagging for Nextcloud: recognizes faces, objects, landscapes, music genres
I use both Recognize and Face Recognition. Face Recognition is more difficult to install and produces results from which you can organize pictures by people. Two different apps.
The Face Recognition permits you to create Photo Albums by face. To me, Tags are better since multiple tags can represent multiple people. An album only aggregates similar faces.
