External storage says "smbclient is not installed"

Hi, I have a problem with external storage. It says “smbclient is not installed” but I installed it. I looked on forums and none of the solutions seems to work. What should i do?

  • What installation method did you use for Nextcloud Server?

I installed smbclient using apt and nextcloud using snap.

Aw, yes, that is why you’re having trouble.

Snap’s are (semi)confined environments. They don’t use things installed in host’s OS.
