Summary of the issue you are facing:
I have a folder called pictures attached via “External storage” to my nextcloud.
It’s a folder managed by Unraid on the same server as nextcloud runs.
3 Weeks a go I saw that nextcloud desktop clients start to re-sync over and over aigan the this exact External storage folder.
When I check the External storage on the nextcloud web I can see that sometime the modifed data is correct (the same as when I “ls” the folder within the unraid server) sometimes it is completly off.
Sometimes the External storage folder is even empty and after a few minutes the folders inside the picture folder is populated again.
it is really random I can’t figure out why
The external storage folder can be accessed via SMB without any problem however nextcloud seems to have a problem handling the folder. It contains around 120’000 files.
Any Idea why this does now happen?
