External Storage and CIFS Problem

i have a problem with one user with external storage to the root of a windows share.

When user is mapped to a subfolder of the share all is working fine, but when i map this user to the root of the share it shows “no content”. When i map with the same credential to another share on the same server all is working fine. For it seems there is too much content in this share.

Where can i find any log-files to investigate this problem?

I have over 5 plus mapped drives and some of them have over 300-500 GB of files. The key is to make sure you are mapping to a MAPPED share - it must be actually shared out with proper permission. For example, \servername\share1, \servername\share2, etc. If drive letter, it’s usually D$ or \servername\D$
