External Share (SMB) - share a file

Hello,

i got my own Nextcloud up and running and iā€™m very exited about the features and how fast it works.

But i got a question, sharing lokal files (e.g. directly stored on my linux Container) works very good - but most of my files are stored on an Windowsserver and mapped via Docker compose in my Nextcloud Container.

This files i can not share - is this correct, or need it to configure (and if yes, how)?

Now it works:

Goto Administration > Management > External Storage > select the Share > click the Button with the three Dots > select activate sharing > Save the settings.
