It’s been improved in the latest client but no, still not totally fixed. It used to be every time you saved a file but now it only seems to do it for the first save.
Nextcloud client 13.12.2 installed today. This bug still not fixed.

Server 29.04 and client 3.13.3 and I’m still having this annoying issue. It does not always occur:
- With Excel: almost always
- with Notepad(++), Word and other apps: occasionally
The related Github issue has been closed as soon as the commit was made. Developers are not responding to various reports there that the commit does not solve the issue in most cases. I’m no developer, but I cannot imagine Github was meant to be used that way.

Bug #6190 still has status closed, but a developer just announced a new fix is in the works.
