Everytime I created a new document it is downloaded

  • Nextcloud Server version (30.0.5):
  • Operating system and version (OpenSUSE Leap 15.6):
  • Web server and version (Apache 2.4.58):
  • PHP version _(8.2.26)
  • Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Yes)
  • When did this problem seem to first start?
  • Installation method (e.g. AlO, NCP, Bare Metal/Archive, etc.) Downloaded zipfile
  • Are you using CloudfIare, mod_security, or similar? ( No)

I have just installed a new instance of Nextcloud 30 and every time I create a file it automatically downloads a copy of it to my Downloads directory in the “home” directory.
I have not installed any client syncing app on linux that I am aware off.

I’m also having this exact issue. I have no solution yet.

Hi,
When I set my NC installation to use https the problem went away. sorry no further help, but all is okay with mine now.

When I installed NextCloud using the NextCloud VM Script, I noticed that when the script asked if I wanted to install Collabora, it said I needed to enable HTTPS.

I think the NextCloud Office needs HTTPS to work, or it may be Collabora CODE that requires it. So enabling HTTPS makes sense as to why it resolved your issue.
