Hello to all,
Firstly, I would like to take a minute to thank you in advance for all the help you might provide to me, in order to hopefully solve these issues, and for the wall of text.
Secondly, I am not tech savvy and programming is (still) something I am not very familiar with, however, I am quite good at following instructions.
Issue 1:
I installed my nexcloud instance on a server that is running Cpanel, using the Web Installer Community version, available on the main website.
After logging in, I can access all the areas of my nextcloud instance and everything seemed to be in working order. However, the following is happening:
- When I press “Administration Overview”, on the “Security & Setup warnings”, I am getting the following error - Error occurred whilst checking server setup - and after checking the log there are 3 errors that are being shown:
1.1 - mysql.setup
1.2 - PHP
1.3 - internet_connection_check
By what I could understand, it seems that I have no database created and/or do not have enough memory allocated. What do I need to do in order to make it work properly?
Issue 2: (that might be related to issue 1)
2. After installing the most recent version the Android app (F-Droid; Version: 3.30.6) on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (One UI 6.1, Android 14, December Patch), I typed my server address and my credentials. I then got the message that I can close the browser tab, but the app stays in “loading status” and I cannot actually enter my nextcloud instance.
This seems to be generating the necessary tokens (that I am checking under “Personal > Security > Devices & Sessions”), and I do have a list of a few (matching the amount of tries I did in order to try to make it work). Nevertheless, when I try to revoke the access, I am getting the following error message - could not deleted the app token.
Would you be so kind as to shed some light on how this can be fixed?
I am totally available to provide any extra details or information I can find that is deemed usefull so that, together, we can tackle these issues.
