Error while upgrading to 16.0.4

The web updater barfs with (from Firefox Web Console):

TypeError: OC.getRootPath is not a function update.js:44:50
    start update.js:44
    <anonymous> update.js:156
    jQuery 2

Any idea what’s going on?

I can not upgrade since upgrading the mail-app gives me a lot of errors. Is it only me? The mail works but I get lots of errors in the log.

So far I have not got a solution to my issue report https://github.com/nextcloud/mail/issues/1907
Should I upgrade and not mind about the errors?
