Error while checking the available disk space of temporary PHP path

Hello,
I updated from 27 to 28.06 on my hosted NC and now I get this error message:
Error while checking the available disk space of temporary PHP path or no free disk space returned. Temporary path: /var/www/clients/client132/web704/tmp
It seems to be the same problem as in this bug:

[Bug]: wrong directory for temporary PHP path (nc 28.0.5 and 29 / php-fpm)

But there is no clear solution and I think its better to give support in the forum.

I have had the same message with my hosted Nextcloud for some time.
This is due to my provider who has blocked a php function.

Their support replied to my enquiry:
“Nextcloud is probably trying to access a php function which has been blocked by us. As long as this only leads to a message in the software, this should not be an issue and can be ignored by you.”

In the issue tracker was now also enlightening comment:

• The original report was about sys_temp_dir pointing to /tmp which was forbidden by open_basedir. That was easy to spot from the logs.
• The second case is that disk_free_space is disabled. We are showing the same warning if the function is disabled and if the function result was false, and therefore the problem is difficult to spot. This will be improved by the patch.
• If you are still seeing the error with 29.0.4 please log a new issue and provide the exact error message.

So I suppose it is the same for me.

Do you know if bad things can happen, while this error is in place? It is not really clear from the error message…

My Nextcloud works perfectly (calendar, contacts, file sharing, updates), despite this error message.
I cannot judge whether issues can occur because of this.
