Tips for increasing the likelihood of a response

If screenshots are useful, feel free to include them.
- If possible, also include key error output in text form so it can be searched for.
Try to edit log output only minimally (if at all) so that it can be ran through analyzers / formatters by those trying to help you.

I think you need to adjust the permissions for the updater in Linux as follows: chmod 755 /path/to/nextcloud/updater/

I do not thnk you tell us here all Infos about your Instalation. The file updater/index.php is usually in the folter /var/www/nextcloud/ and owned by the owner of the web-root (eg. www-data).

So it does not looks like your installation is one of the recomended.

Hi!

I have a Virtualmin installation and one virtual server created with the nextcloud installation.

Then everything runs with that user.

I have a quota of 200GB with 22GB used.

I have tried to update another instance where i have almost no extra apps from 31.0.14 to 32.0.8 and it worked ok. Maybe this problem is just from 32.0.6 or is related with an app.

I never had this problem, my installation is updated since owncloud and then nextcloud first versions.

No, i updated also from 32.0.6 to 32.0.8 since 32.0.7 was was revoked. So I skipped the step for 32.0.7. But i can’t see any recommended reason to install NC-Root in a /home/USER directory.

If you think the reason may be any of the extra apps you simply may deactivate them before starting update and then reactivate them.

Addendum:

what is in the file /home/xxxxx/public_html/updater/index.php in Line:399?

The reason to have a virtual server and installed in /home/user is because i have other virtual servers with other websites in this machine.

And it checks for files that are not writable. So at least one of your files in need to be updated is not writable for the updater.

Hi!

Done.

It was Local Large Language Model (deprecated). This was disabled, i wasn’t using it, but it was present in the system. After removing it, problem solved.
