End-to-end encryption and virtual file sync

I enabled end-to-end encryption today to try it out. But I can’t select a folder to to encrypt on my Mac, since I am using Virtual File Sync? Is there some way to use end-to-end encryption with virtual file sync?

If you mean the file provider integration on macOS, the current file provider extension included in the Nextcloud desktop client does not support end-to-end encryption yet.
