Editing in images doesn't work

I click on files and select an image, then click on edit, i.e. on the pen. Then it reloads and then the message appears. “Es ist kein Plugin zum Anzeigen dieses Dateityps verfügbar”.
There is no message displayed in the logs, just the error mentioned above.
I have to reload the browser so that I can select any files again and then everything works again. Everything works perfectly in the reminders app

Vielleicht hilft die Log aus dem Server?

Same here: Updated to NC 29 today. Photo editor does not work anymore :frowning:

the error with pfd disappeared for me when I uninstalled and reinstalled deck

are you sure your problem belonged to “editing in images doesn’t work”?

i have same problem with Edit button. if I hit edit button, nothing happens, then if i try again the error comes. " there is no plugin to open the file". Therefore i reverted back to nc 28. Issue gets fixed if I run nc28 stable. But then again when I upgraded to nc 29 stable, problem reoccurs. I ran occ scan all, scan-app-data, missing-indices, maintenance-repair, and more, But nothing corrected the problem. error is " there is no plugin to open the file"
my system ubu 2204, nginx, php 8.3, postgre16.2 . please help us correct error.

If it helps, I have the same problem since v29 with a lot of identical logs when it happens. They’re not really clear for me but it might help:

I also see in the Chrome console 6 errors when I open the side panel of the picture probably related to this problem :

Any news ?
Anyone to give us help?

Never done it before so I have no idea. Maybe someone will publish the problem in Github?

Does the problem go away if you enable the Teams / Circles (circles) app?

Or put another way, is that app disabled in your environment? (It’s a shipped app and normally enabled).

I uninstalled and installed the app and the result remains the same. I also tried uninstalling all apps except for the dashboard, files and photos and reinstalling all the apps step by step. but the problem still exists.

I opened an issue :

If you also want to come forward if you have this problem to try to move the resolution forward

In my opinion, this issue - opened some weeks before - about the same behaviour:

… is at the right place (viewer, not server)

Much and good luck,

Seems to be a burning issue; with no updates since April. Issue persists in Nextcloud 30.0.
Whole team has same isssue: try to rename photo or vid names; does not work; after which opening photos or videos no longer works “There is no plugin available for this file type”.
Nothing appears in logs.

Hosters and consultants with arms in air. Is there no update from Nextcloud on this?

Should be fixed in NC [30.0.1], [29.0.9] and [28.0.12]
