As far as I know, the “Edit locally” features in order to work requires that the file has been locally synchronized first, with the Nexctloud client.
I fully understand that a local client has to be present in order to act as an intermediate between the server and the Desktop. But why does the file has to be synchronized ??
One would imagine that if not present the file is first downloaded on the desktop, then open with the appropriate local application, then uploaded back when closed.
Does anybody know if this behavior is planned ? or is even doable ?
