E-Mail-Server: getaddrinfo failed

Hi,

we are on a shared host at goneo; Nextcloud version is 24.0.4.

I tryed to setup the E-Mail-Server under settings/admin. The credentials are correct, the address works but the E-Mail-Server throws me an Error:
Log data: ++ Starting Swift_SmtpTransport !! Connection could not be established with host smpt.goneo.de :stream_socket_client(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name does not resolve (code: 0).

Is this a problem on my side, if so what can I do?
Or is it a problem with the provider?

It seems to be a problem on your side, because the given server name “smpt.goneo.de” couldn’t be resolve to an ip address. The reason for it might be, that there seems to be a typo in the server name. I assume it should “smtp.goneo.de” :wink:
