Somebody uploaded the files for me. It looks it is a NextColud service.
But the downloading speed is very slow (not on my side of the cable). And the links will expire at the end of the month, while the volume is big - 2TB.
Although the mentioned provider might use Nextcloud on his servers, that doesn’t mean that you are getting support in this forum. He you can only get Nextcloud specific questions answered if you are .e.g. self hosting a Nextcloud instance. You should reach-out to to the provider of the service who is behind the domain “fvg.it” and ask them why the download speed is so low.
This question can only be answered by the provider “fvg.it”, becausehe controls how his server are connected to the Internet and by default Nextcloud is not restricting download speed.
OK, I will explain more. The one problem is slow downloading.
The second problem is this is 37 000 of files. And I have option to download them one by one (sic!), or download them all. Option “download them all” will make me one big 2 TB file, which is impossible to download with this speed. Any banwith stop…
But there is option to move the files to NextCloud.
Nextcloud is not a service (well not in this context), it’s a software application. You would need to deploy Nextcloud somewhere (such as on your own server or a rented one) or get an account with a hosting provider that offers Managed Nextcloud Server/services.
Please ask your provider “fvg.it” how much disk space he is going to provide you to store data. In general an account limit can be set in Nextcloud, but it depends on your contract with your provider.
PLEASE ASK YOUR PROVIDER!! Bandwidth is not an issue of the used software but the connection of your provider to the Internet and the server environment he uses to run the Nextcloud software.
Nextcloud, the company, does not offer any hosting services or infrastructure for hosting services. Nextcloud provides software that can be hosted by virtually anyone on virtually any infrastructure, and performance depends on the infrastructure it’s hosted on and how the people or organization hosting the particular instance you’re trying to download from have configured their instance.
So if your download speed is slow, you need to ask the people or organization that gave you the download link, because there’s absolutely nothing Nextcloud or the members of this forum can do about it. The only ones that might be able to do something are the people or organization hosting the particular Nextcloud instance you’re trying to download from.
And btw, in case your Internet connection happens to be the bottleneck, there’s not much they can do either, except maybe extend the lifespan of the download link, or make the data available to you in some other way, such as on physical media.
