Through the files application in a web browser, I have been able to upload a full directory tree by drag-and-drop.
I have not been able, however, to reverse the operation. The browser will not allow me move a folder into a local file manager by drag-and-drop.
Further, when I choose the item for downloading from the folder menu in the web browser, downloading begins for a Zip file.
I am seeking to download a very massive store organized as many files in a tree. A Zip file would not provide a feasible means to download the store.
Is it possible to download the files through a process that is essentially symmetric with the upload operation initiated by drag and drop?
