Downgrade from Nextcloud 30 to 29

Hello community,

I just rebuilt my Nextcloud instance and accidentally installed the latest version 30. Unfortunately, Collabora Online - Built-in CODE Server (ARM64) does not work as desired. Therefore I would like to downgrade to version 29, which previously worked without any problems for me.

I understand that Nextcloud 30 is still very new and may still contain bugs. Since I urgently need Collabora, I currently see no other option than downgrading.

Do any of you have experience with such a downgrade from 30 to 29? Are there any instructions or specific steps I need to follow?

I am very grateful for any help!

Best regards,

There is no way to downgrade Nextcloud eg. Nextcloud 30 to Nextcloud 29.

I think you can only wait, solve your problem in Nextcloud 30 or use a restore from your Nextcloud 29 backup.

One reason why there is no downgrade is the fact that, for example, entire database structures change on release.

welcome to the forum @Mycloudlife

could you please share more details what is wrong with collabora-built-in on nc30 and ARM?

I tried to install the app as usual, but when I clicked “Download and Activate” a small red error message appeared: **“There was an error with the request. Cannot proceed.” nc30 collabora-built-in
