Does Nextcloud 15 supports mounting external storage inside existing directory and not only home?

I wonder if Nextcloud 15 supports mounting external storage directories inside some existing directory (i.e. not directly to the user’s home)?

For example, is something like on this screenshot legal (notice how Folder Name contains path and not just name)?

In the example above, I manually created the NFS directory in my user home and it seems like everything works:

But I wonder if it “works” because it is designed to work, or just works by accident and may have potential negative side effects (like maybe security issues)?

Official documentation doesn’t say whether it is legal to use path as the Folder Name in external storage.
