Docker Install with Caddy & Tailscale Not Working

The Basics

OS: Ubuntu 24.04
Web server and version: Apache 2.4.26
Installation method: AIO
Are you using CloudfIare, mod_security, or similar: No

Summary of the issue you are facing:

This is my first time installing Nextcloud and I鈥檓 trying to get it installed by following the guide found on GitHub (Tailscale (and Caddy as a sidecar) Reverse Proxy 路 nextcloud/all-in-one 路 Discussion #5439 路 GitHub) but I can鈥檛 seem to get it working. What do I need to do to get the TS_AUTH_KEY? What access does it need? How would you tag it in the ACL section? Do you need Caddy if Tailscale is running on the server? Do the Caddy directories actually need to exist on the server or are those referencing the directories inside the docker container? Also in the Caddy file, I鈥檝e seen some guides say to use localhost:11000 but this guide says to use nextcloud-aio-apache:11000. Do they both produce the same result? I tried following the guide as best I could and I could access the initial setup through port 8080 and the containers did say they were running and had all green next to each container after the initial setup but I couldn鈥檛 access port 80, 443, or 8443. I couldn鈥檛 even access those when on the same network and not using Tailscale and I don鈥檛 have any firewalls that would be blocking those ports. I鈥檝e spent about 8 hours trying to get this to work without much success.

Hi, please post this question directly in this thread: Tailscale (and Caddy as a sidecar) Reverse Proxy 路 nextcloud/all-in-one 路 Discussion #5439 路 GitHub

Oh, sorry. That would make more sense to post it there.
