Disable nextcloud talk attachment automatic save to folder

I would like to know if it’s possible to disable the option for files/attachments shared in Talk chat to be saved to the NextCloud file folder.

I mean, they have to be stored somewhere, so I’d say no, but you can change the folder in which the attachments should be saved under Talk Settings → Attachments folder.

By the way, when you add existing files to a conversation, they stay in their original location and aren’t moved to the attachments folder. You can also move files from the attachments folder to anywhere in your files app and they will still be shared with the respective conversations. So, it’s basically the same behaviour as with normal file shares.

Thanks, @bb77 I was hoping to have the attachments saved somewhere else on the server outside of the file app
