DICOM Viewer no show

Hi,
recently I had an MRT examination concerning the upper part of the spine. And since I got a copy of the pictures I was looking for a way to look at them. In NC I found an app to just do that. Instalation went smooth, at least no error messages and I found the app as installed. However no icon anywhere. So how to start it ?

System : Dietpi on Raspi 4 / NC 30.0.1 / no errormessages

A preview should be visible on the sidebar:

And the viewer probably opens when you click on such a file.

Hi,
tks, but this is all I can see. Clicking on the preview does not help.
There is also no Icon for this app on the top of the landing page. All other installed apps can be started from there.
I can’t rule out the possibility that the problem sit’s in front of the screen. :innocent:

Hello “Captain”,

I faced the same problem. It is implemented in the Files-App. After renaming the file to ***.dcm a dicom tab appears under details.
When you klick on the file after a while, another tab opens with the viewer.

So far I understood only one picture can be displayed and the scrolling through the layers isn’t possible yet.

EDIT: You need to rename every file with an *.dcm ending. I’m on Ubuntu and this command may help you:

rename 's/$/.dcm/' *

Run this command in the folder with DICOM files.

Back in Nextcloud go into the folder via the file app and click any file → the viewer should open. In the sidebar on the left is the serie and in the main picture you can also scroll the layer.
