QUERY:
We are trying to see if detailed logging is available in licensed version of NextCloud as when a user’s account was created and see logs of all users as admin user or see logs against a particular user. Additionally, does licensed version provide better support better support to fix bugs or concerns? Will it be worth it to go for the upgraded version ?
If you’re interested in the Nextcloud enterprise version, you should have a look on the following page, where you will find information about the pricing plans, features, etc…
The enterprise version should be the same Nextcloud as the free one. But you get support. Some extended support you can even have stand-by support during upgrades in case something goes wrong they can immediately help you (rather large setups). But I don’t know how support is included in each support plan.
For logging there is also the audit log, I didn’t use it but perhaps worth looking at it:
You can combine a lot of information out of the nextcloud and webserver log, in case you want a quick and dirty solution.
We are looking for logs against a particular user as when the user’s account was created or deleted when logged in as admin. In other words, how can we track activities against a particular file/user.
