Desktop client using 99% cpu

Same Problem here.
The client frezzes directly eating al lot of CPU. It was working all fine, until i updated my debian to bookworm (12) some 2 weeks ago. I didn’t change anything at the server, so this has to be a bug in the client packed with debian.

The client crashes directly with startup, and I can only kill it. When I start the client from the terminal there are no error messages, I also tried with --logwindow, the dialog about logging opens, but is frozen, and no logfiles are written.

Unfortunately I don’t have the time right now for more debugging, but help would be highly welcome.

3.7.3 is not even the latest version of the 3.7 branch: Release Release 3.7.4 · nextcloud/desktop · GitHub

The latest fixes from the Debian package are a bit older:

You can log into a file instead of using the window:

  1. To save to a file, start the client using the --logfile <file> command, where <file> is the filename to which you want to save the file.
