Desktop client running very slow

I have noticed that over the last week or 2, the desktop client seems to be very slow and keeps freezing
Whenever I navigate to a Nextcloud folder and open an item I get a spinner on the screen for a few minutes and the folder freezes before the file eventually opens

I also notice the same behaviour when I right click a file. Eventually the menu appears and everything runs fine from there, even generating share links but it is the initial minute or 2 that is getting quite teadious

Running Windows 11 with nextcloud hosted on my Ubuntu Server

Hey @EazyFreight, have you taken a look at the debug logs of your NC-Client? Do you see anything suspicious during the times it freezes? Does your task manager show anything out of the ordinary during the freezes, e.g. high cpu utilization, etc.?

This should be the command to gather them:

'C:\Program Files\Nextcloud\nextcloud.exe' --logdebug --logfile 'C:\Users\<YOUR_USERNAME>\Desktop\nc-client.txt'

Here you can find even more information about the client.

Nothing suspicious when I run task manager. All looks normal

I tried the terminal command you provided, but I get The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

I removed the ' ' around the command and got the reply 'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Also I am running the latest version of nextcloud - 31.0.4
