Desktop client Nextcloud (Windows 10 Home) not working

I’m using the desktop client (Windows 10 Home) and it stops working. When I move the mouse over the icon with the green tick (bottom right) it’s gone. I can’t open the client window (bottom right) where I can see file sync activity or add new users etc. It was working a few weeks ago, but now it’s not working. I think I updated to the latest desktop client version and then it stopped working. I also installed the latest client on a PC (Windows 10 Pro) and everything works fine there. Any ideas where the problem lies? How can I fix it?

This may sound funny, but let’s eliminate the obvious first: Have you rebooted your workstation? Does the behavior return after a reboot?
