I am having the same issue, please hotfix asap.
Why is this still being rolled out by the autoupdater and why is it not fixed yet? it renders explorer unusable
It seems that the fix they proposed is working for everybody. This fix is part of the next NC 3.12.3 release that was released (on the github repository) yesterday:
Release Release 3.12.3 · nextcloud/desktop · GitHub and for myself it is already available on nextcloud.com and is distributed via update servers (for me).
