Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can :heart:

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 27.0.1.2
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Ubuntu 22.04
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): Apache 2.4.52
PHP version (eg, 7.4): 8.1
Nginx reverse proxy version: 1.18

The issue you are facing:
In Security and setup warnings I get the "Your web server is not properly setup to resolve “/.well-known/caldav” and “/.well-known/cardav”

I don’t have any “errors” to share here, this is more a question.

So when I browse to https://cloud.example.com/remote.php/dav/

The page states: “This is the WebDAV interface. It can only be accessed by WebDAV clients such as the Nextcloud desktop sync client.”

My question is, can I ignore the caldav/cardav warnings? Can I assume the rewrite is good since it seems to redirect from a browser test?

I have the proper location blocks:
ie:

location /.well-known/carddav {
    return 301 $scheme://$host/nextcloud/remote.php/dav;
}

location /.well-known/caldav {
    return 301 $scheme://$host/nextcloud/remote.php/dav;
}

in the nginx config file that sits in front of the nextcloud instance. My install is located in /var/www/html/nextcloud/, so I think this is correct.
Thanks
