Summary of the issue you are facing:

Nextcloud’s built-in database checks are presenting findings that need attention (see screenshot below). I have no clue how to address them (the second finding on the list is fine though as “Sort merge-pass rate” is passing checks).

Steps to replicate it (hint: details matter!):

  1. Go to Administration settings > System

  2. Select the Database tab

  3. Look at the Findings sub tab

Log entries

Nextcloud

Please provide the log entries from your Nextcloud log that are generated during the time of problem (via the Copy raw option from Administration settings->Logging screen or from your nextcloud.log located in your data directory). Feel free to use a pastebin/gist service if necessary.

No idea what would be relevant here.

Web Browser

If the problem is related to the Web interface, open your browser inspector Console and Network tabs while refreshing (reloading) and reproducing the problem. Provide any relevant output/errors here that appear.

N/A

Web server / Reverse Proxy

The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in /var/log/____:

Will provide when I can if needed.

Configuration

Nextcloud

The output of occ config:list system or similar is best, but, if not possible, the contents of your config.php file from /path/to/nextcloud is fine (make sure to remove any identifiable information!):

Will provide when I can if needed.

Apps

The output of occ app:list (if possible).

Will provide when I can if needed.

No idea how this topic got the dns tag applied, but i don’t think it’s dns related.

For the only error you have on your screenshot, you need to add one missing indice using the occ command occ db:add-missing-indices – occ will handle the missing indice automatically.

You should have this specific error reported in your admin overview.

For more infos about occ commands, have a look here :

https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/stable/admin_manual/occ_command.html

All I have related to this in admin overview is

image

No missing indices message.

I ran occ db:add-missing-indices anyway and it gave no output, but the failing entry in findings is gone and the message above in overview is also gone now. Seems to be resolved at the moment. Thank you.
