Custom port and self signed certificate in security scanner

I’m trying to use the security scanner, but it seems something is not working:
Scan failed! The scan for the specified domain failed. Either no Nextcloud or ownCloud can be found there or you tried to scan too many servers.

I’m using a custom port for https and a self signed certificate. Is one of these aspects not supported by the nextcloud security scanner?

The port, most likely. Although you won’t like the result you get from a self-signed certificate even if the scan did work.

What security risk might be a self signed certificate? Sure if the signer is not trustful it could be a problem, but I signed it myself and I trust myself :stuck_out_tongue:
So the scan would show “self signed cert is not that good”, but there should be no other warnings.
