I like to attatched files in outlook by outlook program then run add-in that can replace attachments, automatically uploading files to Nextcloud and inserting a secure link in the email.
Is it possiable? How I can do that?
Yes it’s possible! https://nextcloud.com/outlook/
There’s also a free Thunderbird plugin: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/nextcloud-filelink/
Sigh. Bad me. Fixed.
Thanks for noticing btw! This helps
But this part of Nextcloud (well, more like a plugin for a mail client than part of Nextcloud) is not Open Source? How much does it cost for people w/o a subscription?
It’s not available without a subscription I believe.
It’s done by a partner, both of them (the calendar/contact and the outlook one). Outlook isn’t open source either so I personally don’t mind. The Thunderbird plugin IS open source, btw.
It is 5 bucks but can’t be gotten without a support contract at the moment. We’re looking at providing a free version for home/SMB usage, stay tuned - we might have something this week.
That would be awesome. I see potential for this at my company (~45 people using Outlook). Just last week somebody created an email, hit attach, which launches a mini file browser, then attempted to right click a file and “Share with Nextcloud” which of course did not work because the shell extensions aren’t available in that context. Not to mention cases where people try to send ridiculously large attachments.
Can you upload this marketing video to youtube please Linucks?

@jospoortvliet I’ll be installing this so hard.
Well, the Oulook Caldav Synchronizer (http://caldavsynchronizer.org/) you promote is Open Source.

Sounds nice, thanks for your hard work.
