I’d like to begin writing documentation for the Maps app, both for users, admins, and developers. Does anyone have a preference where this documentation should reside? My initial idea is to be consistent with the core Nextcloud project docs and use a dedicated git repo with content rendered by Sphinx. One advantage to that approach is that we can focus on useful content immediately, because we know that it will render the same no matter where it ends up being “published” (e.g. https://docs.nextcloud.com).

However, please note I am not a NC developer myself and I am not involved in the a.m. efforts for the time being.
I took a look but I did not notice any guidelines for how to create documentation for individual apps. I’ll try asking on the IRC channel too.
