Copying inner link doesn't work (since update NC 25)

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 25.0.1
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): Ubuntu 22.04
(running Cloudron 7.3)

The issue you are facing:

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? Yes

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Pick any file or folder in the the sidebar in Collabora
  2. Go to “Sharing”
  3. Click on “Internal Link”
  4. Paste the output anywhere else

Expected Behaviour: Copy-pasting the internal link to the document

Actual behaviour: The link doesn’t get copied to the clipboard, but the confirmation message “Link copied” appears after clicking

Workarounds:

  • copying the external link works
  • right-clicking on “internal link” and clicking on “copy link address”
  • copying the internal link from the Nextcloud file menu (it only doesn’t copy when a document is opened in Collabora)

Did you report this as a bug? I could not find any corresponding bug report, unfortunately.

I now added a new report at [Bug]: Regression: NC 25: Copying internal links from sidebar while document is opened does not work · Issue #35922 · nextcloud/server · GitHub . If you already reported this bug back in November, please link the reports on GitHub. If you didn’t, but can provide additional information to the bug report, please do so.

We just upgraded to Nextcloud 25.06

When a team member copies the URL link of say a file, and he/she shares it with our team members who can access this file too on their end.

This is what happens: the team member getting the shared url inner link pastes this link in their browser, it goes first to where the file is located for a fraction of a second, then there is an automatic forward to our home page in nextcloud.

Is there any workaround, or is it a bug waiting to be fixed?
