Contact Groups adding (new group)

To reproduce:

  1. Add new group to a contact. I.E type in group1 and it adds a group called group1(new group)

Is there a way to change the group name? If not in the app, then does anyone know the sql query to change it in the underlying table?

no, but …

create new group with good name.
edit users to use new group and quit old group
move data in group folder if use

delete old group.

Thanks, but how do I delete the old misnamed group?

admin → users → left side panel, click on the group to delete, a bin should appears!

Contact groups don’t show up there. They must be stored in a different table.
