Should the Android app keep me logged in?

On a near daily basis I have to go through the login and Grant Access process. I can jump in and out of the app for several hours, but at some point (usually the next day) I have to re-authenticate. Is this normal?

I have enabled ‘App Passcode’ as Device Credentials, so it will ask for my fingerprint each time I open the app – which is what I’d expected. However, often having to do a full login is very annoying. It also stops the Auto Upload working.

Am I missing something?

It might occur only with older android devices as I said below.
Or have you found a solution so far?

Android 3.12.0 doesn't save my user / login

Hello, could you solve this? This happens to me with my older android device but not with a newer one. So it looks like with older phones, this is just how it is. I have not found another explanation either.

8.1.0 has the device where it won’t stay logged in.

Any chance you’re somehow being left in the webview after the login grant rather than returned to the full client?

I stay logged in until I believe I turn off the internet or shut down the device.
Next boot, I must proceed with typing in my URL, password and confirm the access.
I don’t get stuck in the webview.
