Configuring External Storage for Digital Ocean Volumes

We did a new clean installation for Nextcloud on Digital Ocean. We also have a terabyte of block storage volume that is attached. Why is there not a Digital Ocean Volume option available in the drop down menu when mounting an external device? We need to make the volume block storage accessible for our new Nextcloud install. Why is this information not available in the documentation?

For volume, you have to attach that volume to your vm.
Then in external storage, add a type of ‘local’, path point to your attached volume mount point for example
