Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can

Nextcloud version (eg, 12.0.2):
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 17.04):
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25):
PHP version (eg, 7.1):

I installed nextcloud from https://hub.docker.com/_/nextcloud/.

I am running simplest example by

$ docker run -d -p 8080:80 nextcloud

The issue you are facing:

I am using transmission container to download and want to share the download contents w/ nextcloud. Someone told me the only way is to setup a samba share.

Therefore, on same server, I created a docker samba server with username and password. I tested the server by external smb client.

However I don’t know how I can configure the external storage in nextcloud.

Here is my config:

Folder name: SMB
Authentication: Username and password.
Host: localhost
Share: /Mount
Username:
Password:
Available for: admin(group).

However it always fails.

Pls suggest.
