The Collectives app creates two folders unter files. One in which the collectives are actually saved named “Kollektive” and one empty folder named “Collectives”. When I delete the empty folder, it is constantly recreated after a while. Strangly this Problem only occurs for one of my user accounts. In all other accounts there is only one folder.
Steps to reproduce:
Activate/ install Collectives App
Check the Files App
I’ve already tried deleting all circles, the collectives app and both folders and reinstalling. Unfortunatly without success. It’s most likely something minor, but I can’t figure out, what I have to do to fix it.
Indeed this is a known problem in the Collectives app and we’re currently working on fixing it. It will be fixed with the next release of Collectives (0.18).
In fact the Collectives folder will be configurable by user in the future. Since the logic how it is initalized changes a lot under the hood, no double folders will be created anymore.
Please note that you will have to remove the old folder after manually chaning the folder in your settings though.
