Collaborative Maps not working

I’m on Nextcloud Hub 4 (26.0.0) with Maps 1.0.0. [PHP 8.2]

Creating personal or collaborative maps does not work. When I create a new map unter “My maps”, it appears directly beneath the “Default” entry, but when I click on it, it disappears again. I can’t interact with it or share it with other users.

However, a new directory is created in my “Maps” directory.

Everything else (favorites, contacts, photos, tracks, devices) seems to work fine, but I’ve been waiting for the collaborative map features since it was announced, and from what I’ve been reading, it’s working for other people?

Any ideas what could be the issue here?

Hi

Same issue here. No clue why it doesnt work.

Cheers
Daniel

I can create maps and share them, but no photos are displayed on the maps. Just a link to a map.
The QR code leads to the map folder, including all the photos.

I actually thought that it would generate a link that would lead directly to my shared map and photos.

I have a similar problem with the collaborative Maps.

What I did:

  • I have created a new custom map;
  • none of the existing contacts is displayed (whereas they are, nicely, on the “default” map);
  • As a turnaround of this problem, I exported on the Contacts app to a vCard file the content of the Adress book that I want to display;
  • I placed that file in the folder relevant for the newly created custom Map.

What I obtain:

  • only the last contact entered in the Address book is displayed. None of the others are. All of these test contacts have the same (minimal) content: a name, a city in Europe;
  • when I use the URL of the share link being provided by Maps for that custom map, I access the directory relevant for the custom map (which contains the vCard file) - but not the Map itself, whereas my intention was to display this interactive map of contacts to the public.

What I expected:

  • The custom map should enable the display of the selected address book(s), among a list containing the all address books in Contacts;
  • If not, the custom map should at least display all contacts from the imported vCard file;
  • the public share link provided should give access to the actual custom map (which can be navigated dynamically when you are the map author), not to the directory relevant for the custom map.
