Collabora or OnlyOffice with Nextcloud Snap on same server

I set up a new NextCloud server with the snap yesterday, and it’s been pretty great so far. However, I want to have an online office suite integrated with it, but I can’t find a way to install either with the snap, only with the regular install. I have SSL with Let’s Encrypt on the server, and I changed the data storage directory, but other than that it’s pretty much the stock snap install. If anyone knows how I could get Collabora or OnlyOffice set up on the same server, that would be great.

There are several ways.

  • Build from source
  • Deb packages (if you run a debian based system)
  • Docker

I would suggest using docker in case you are testing the suite since you can easily clean and start over with other suites.
