Which general topic do you have

Hello,
I’m a nextcloud noob and finally have Collabora working for document editing.
I prefer dark mode, however Collabora has a kind of dark mask over the regular white page and black text.
My previous cloud editor would reverse the document to a black page with white text.
Does Collabora have something like that please?

please use search few topics exists already e.g. Collabora with dark theme barely readable - #3 by spirkinator

Update: automatic text color seem to help as show by OP as well!

Meanwhile, the same is partially about LibreOffice, so I have to select all the text and make the text colour default. In this case, it becomes inverted to white on the dark background.

At least in the latest CODE version this seems to work for new documents.

It doesn’t seem to work for existing documents though:

Dark theme both in Collabora and LO is not convenient at all.
Do these steps after selecting the whole text:

Yeah, as I said, it only works with new documents I create using the Collabora CODE version shown in the screenshot above. It doesn’t work with existing documents that were created using desktop LibreOffice or older versions of CODE or LOOL, even when opened in that same version.

So no, I don’t think there’s a an actual solution at the moment. The only sensible way to edit existing documents I’ve found is either to disable dark mode entirely, or to use the “Invert Background” option, which keeps the interface in dark mode, but shows the document itself with a light background, making it usable.
