Client (OSX & iOS) Connection not possible

Hello,
I can sadly not connect to my installed NextCloud via the iOS App or the OSX desktop client:
I get the following error in the access log of the server:

12.34.56.789 - - [21/Feb/2017:13:42:23 +0100] “PROPFIND /remote.php/webdav/ HTTP/1.0” 401 1144 “-” “Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh) mirall/2.2.4 (build 1) (Nextcloud)”

I get the same 401 Error when trying to connect via the iOS App…
I triple-checked the user/password combination and they worked when using the web-app.

Best regards
David

Hi David,

Can you tell us a bit about your environment?
Server version, how it is set up, proxies in use, etc.

Can you connect externally if you can’t internally?

Is Apache the web server your using? Did you disable WebDAV in your apache config file for Nextcloud?

Hello,
Thanks for the replies!
The machine is a dedicated root server running Ubuntu 16.04 with Plesk as Hosting Environment.
I installed nextcloud via the archive and used a MySQL Database.
Nextcloud as web-app is working fine but the webDAV connection seems to not work.

Im not 100% certain but I think we used Apache with nginx as reverse proxy.

How can I test If apache webDAV is en- or disabled?

Best regards
David
