Client doesn't start and doesn't provide any error logs

My Nextcloud client resides gray and idle in the bottom right. When I click on it, it doesn’t do anything. I cannot provide my user credentials, change any settings etc. But I can kill it with the task manager. Then I can start it by the following lines:

& "C:\Program Files\nextcloud\nextcloud.exe" --logwindow

Sadly even the log window freezes and I have never seen of Nextcloud again. I have tried to remove and re-install it, I did several reboots in between, with no help.

Nextcloud client version : Nextcloud-3.2.2-x64.msi
Operating system and version: Windows 10, latest updates installer (17.06.2021)

Just for additional information, the server is working and from another computer I can access the cloud without any problems! I also set up a webdav connection that worked like a charm (not on the root folder though, but any kind of subfolder).

Has anybody seen similar cases? I just tried the same today, still with the same errors. As simple deinstallation is not sufficient. Does anybody have a possible solution?
