Client app wrongly reports “no (internet) connection”

Hi,

Nextcloud ecosystem is shaky in every way. I dont know where to start reporting issues, there are issues all over. But worst piece of software in this ecosystem is the android client. After some time in daily use, I am switching from wifi to data plan, because I leave the house and wise versa coming back in to wifi when entering home again. But not my Nextcloud on Android. I am using the desktop client from Kubuntu app store and there is a similar thing after standby where the desktop client says something like “disconnected to server”. What the hack!

Anyway, in both cases it is required to force close the app and start it again. Kubuntu and Android. So many years now of development, still both projects deliver very poor software experience.

I always have to get my handy dirty with this platform. Restart here, delete there.

Why is Nextcloud client so stiff about connections and not able to recover? Does someone know a solution to the Android or the Kubuntu (Ubuntu) connection problem?

That’s so not 21st century.

PS: I am also open for a complete different ecosystem, if it is more stable
